My name is Jordan Pilkington, and I am excited to begin my 3rd year of teaching at Munford Elementary School and coaching Varsity Volleyball. I graduated from Oxford High School in 2009 and continued my education at Faulkner State Community College on a volleyball scholarship. After receiving my Associate's degree at FSCC, I furthered my education at The University of Alabama where I received my Bachelor's degree in Collaborative Education K-12 in May 2014. Roll Tide! I am currently completing my Master's degree at The University of West Alabama in Collaborative Education K-6. I am anticipating graduation in August 2016.
I am happily married to Trey Pilkington, and we enjoy spending time outside with our dog Dixie, traveling, and cheering on our favorite team, Alabama. In my spare time I am an avid reader, enjoy yoga practice, and a lover of coffee. I love teaching and look forward to going to work everyday. As a special education teacher, I am a firm believer in the fact that all children are capable of learning. Sometimes as teachers we have to be creative in the ways we allow students to demonstrate their learning.
